We are looking for an innovative, knowledgeable go-getter, to join EPIC Fitness Group as an Operations Assistant. This position is located in the Northville office, which is located in the Metro Detroit Area.  As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for providing general administrative, reporting, and operational support.

Responsibilities:
  • Heavy interaction with Operations Team, which consists of Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Quality Control, Payroll, and Field Operations.
  • Support resolution of operational problems by assisting in organizing and structuring projects and initiatives.
  • Support Operations Team in investigating escalated issues and follow-up on outstanding issues promptly.
  • Create, update, and manage form management system as needed.
  • Update and manage company resources.
  • Manage President and Director of CI expense reports on weekly basis.
  • Order office supplies and manage office supply inventory.
  • Manage company communications.
  • Support development of quarterly company publication.
  • Process Club Account Resubmits twice monthly.
  • Manage job calendars and flows to ensure timely completion. 
  • Manage operational team scheduling tools, monitor activities and track progress.  
  • Utilizing field operations knowledge and experience, recommends process improvements and systems to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Consistently develops plans to assist in prioritization and resolution of multiple issues.
  • Assists in the development of and preparation of multimedia presentations and operations-related training materials.
  •  Provide general administrative and clerical support to management, including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
  •  Document complaints and issues and review with appropriate level management personnel.  Keeps Operations Team apprised of the status of member related issues
  •  Prepares and processes documents, including correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, drafts, memos, and emails.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Operations Team.
Requirements and Skills:
  •  2-year minimum field operations experience. Experience within EPIC/Planet Fitness preferred.    
  • Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and in public speaking settings.
  • Basic to intermediate excel/spreadsheet/database skills. Basic Math skills.
  • Willingness to complete continuing education to support new initiatives programs, and technological upgrades within the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills (detail oriented, goal oriented, follow through).
  • Great attitude (people skills, innovative, proactive, professional).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate a strong knowledge of operations and administrative functions.
