As the Certified Fitness Trainer, you will be responsible for running the training program, creating a positive member experience and providing a friendly & beneficial level of training to Planet Fitness members & guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Positive & Upbeat attitude!
Creating the class schedule which includes member orientation and individual classes where programs are designed specifically for members.
Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to safely use the equipment.
Help to promote our Judgement Free Zone®.
Be readily available for members when classes are not in session.
Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assisting them with any questions or concerns as they check in
Be a team player!

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Punctuality & reliability is a must
Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
CPR/AED Certified (if not, training to be provided by Planet Fitness)
Personal training experience preferred.

Physical Demands of the Certified Fitness Trainer role:

Continual standing & walking during shift.
Moving about in different positions, including lifting, bending and twisting
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
