Job Summary
We are currently looking for a candidate to work overnight at Planet Fitness located at 9341 Kingston Pike in Cedar Bluff. The Overnight Custodian will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, and locker room areas.
- Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
- Thoroughly vacuum and mop assigned areas of gym floor.
- Essentially "reset" the gym for the next business day.
- Assist members at the front desk with amenities, merchandise sales, and general inquiries.
- Answer phone calls according to Planet Fitness guidelines.
- Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Punctuality and reliability is a must.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Experience working third shift is preferred but not required.
- Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift.
- Must be able to regularly lift over 80 pounds.
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.
Job Type: Part Time or Full Time
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
