Job Summary
The Street Team Representative is someone who is responsible for personifying and championing a business or organization in the real world through word-of-mouth marketing tactics. They advocate for their brand to people in their community, and aid their business in reaching a wider customer base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Spreading brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing techniques
- Distributing posters, stickers, and flyers throughout their communities
- Convincing consumers to attend events or purchase products
- Operating as the “face” of a brand in physical and virtual networks
- Attending relevant events to promote their brand
- Transporting promotional materials to and from various locations
- Offering exclusive giveaways, promotions, or trials of a company’s product
Qualifications/Requirements
- Customer service background preferred
- A passion for fitness and health
- Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude!
- Punctuality and reliability is a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
- Continual standing and walking during shift.
- Continual talking in person
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
