About the Role:
Join DJD Fitness as a Member Service team member, where you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our valued members. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about fitness and enjoy helping others achieve their wellness goals.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Manage membership inquiries, including sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and member areas.
- Assist in scheduling classes and personal training sessions.
- Handle member feedback and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Promote gym programs, services, and special events to members.
- Collaborate with team members to create an engaging community atmosphere.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in fitness or hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a fitness or retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of fitness and wellness concepts is advantageous.
- Proficient in using computer systems and membership management software.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
