About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness - Midwest Management Group as a Maintenance Tech! In this exciting role, you'll ensure our facilities are in top-notch condition, creating a welcoming environment for our members. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gym equipment and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and member concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas.
- Assist in setup and breakdown for special events and activities.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall gym experience.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
