About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness in Salinas, CA, as an Overnight Custodian! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members during the night hours, ensuring they have the best experience possible.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of gym equipment and facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness in locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Ensure all areas are presentable and meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work overnight shifts (Mon.-Thurs. 10pm-6am).
- Must be reliable and punctual.
