Overseeing a team of multi-unit and store leaders, this role ensures every location operates to brand standards, delivers an exceptional and consistent guest experience, and meets its financial, operational, and people goals. The Regional Director translates company strategy into disciplined execution at the store level—building a strong leadership pipeline, driving same-store sales and margin growth, protecting the company’s culture and values, and supporting new-location openings as the company scales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the profitable operation of all locations within the assigned
region while preserving the company’s culture, mission, and core values.
  • Develop and execute regional strategies that achieve each location’s financial, operational, and customer-service goals, and translate company objectives into clear priorities for field leaders.
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable the multi-unit and store managers within the region, providing regular, actionable feedback against clearly defined expectations.
  • Maintain a visible, regular presence across locations to reinforce processes, assess performance, support teams, and stay connected to day-to-day operations.
  •  Own the region’s profit and loss performance, achieving cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, and revenue targets through effective oversight of operations, inventory, and scheduling.
  • Monitor regional performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective action plans to protect profitability and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure locations consistently meet service and speed standards, including target drive-thru wait times, cleanliness, and quality, so every guest receives an exceptional
    experience.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop high-potential managers and shift leaders to build a strong leadership pipeline and support internal promotion and succession.
  • Partner with the training and operations excellence teams to implement company-wide initiatives, standards, and operational excellence opportunities across the region.
  • Support the successful opening and ramp-up of new locations within the region, ensuring proper staffing, training, and adherence to brand standards from day one.
  • Ensure all locations comply with company policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and labor standards.
  • Be approachable and responsive to field leaders and store teams, providing timely support, guidance, and problem-solving for staffing, guest, and operational challenges.
  • Attend and lead required leadership, regional, and store-level meetings to align teams with company goals, strategies, and operational priorities.
Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality,
    or related field preferred.
  • At least 6 years of progressive operations leadership experience and at least 2 years of multi-unit management, preferably in restaurant, foodservice, retail, or hospitality.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple locations to meet or exceed sales, profitability, and customer-service goals.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership and experience managing COGS, labor, and operating budgets across multiple units.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing leaders and teams, with a strong record of internal promotion and talent development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to hold others accountable while building trust and a positive culture.
  • Comfortable using POS, scheduling, inventory, and reporting systems to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
